Dear GB girls,
It has been a challenging year to have CCA, but we have survived and successfully completed many of our scheduled badgework for the year despite the disruption.
It is unfortunate that our already-arranged outings and giving-back sessions have to be cancelled in Semester 1. We were also unable to formally welcome our recruits because our annual Enrolment and Dedication Service was also cancelled due to Covid.
Normally, in Term 4, we will only have a year-end camp in Nov. However, due to Covid, we are not allowed to have stayover camps and our meetings would have to meet several Safe Management Measures (SMM) requirements which include (but not limited to) reduced duration and the need to split the company up for any session.
As the year-end GB camps are meant for the whole company to bond across levels and standardize certain rules and routines, it does not meet our camp objectives when we have to split the company up and have severely shortened interaction periods in cohorts.
Thus, we will forgo the year-end camp for this year.
Let's meet one another face to face in Jan 2021. Hopefully, the Covid situation will improve such that the whole company can come together once again.
