Here's the results for the BK Test you took on 06April2009.
Those highlighted have achieved a score that is higher than the passing mark for their level. Congrats and well done! :) Those who passed but are not highlighted means that you passed on the mark. But that's still a pass, so congrats!
Special mention to Jo'zzy who scored a perfect 100% on the BK Test 2009! :)

The officers are proud of your scores! Shows that you did study! And it affirms our stand that it doesn't matter even if you're from NT stream! Good job, Amanda for scoring 97%! :)
Now, for the common mistakes made:
1. GB is amalgamated in 1964 (announced world-wide); 1968 (formally united)
2. Mrs Elsie Lyne founded GB SINGAPORE in 1927, not 1928. (1928 was when 1st coy was registered in the HQ in England)
3. Currently, there are 80 companies in Singapore (this is the answer for THIS round of testing. 81 is also acceptable).
4. The international fellowship of Caribbean/Americas. (please note the "s" at the end of "America". It represents the North & South Americas. "Caribbean" has 2 "b"s and 1 "r". See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caribbean for the location of Caribbean.)
5. Captain's lanyard is RED. If you wrote "Spun Red", that's amazing! Good job! :) Colour of the lanyards of CLTs and LTs are SAXE BLUE. "Blue" is not acceptable.
6. The 7 components are: Crown; Torch of Endeavour; Cross; The white of the cross; Red Background; Lamp & Flame of Love; Blue Circle.
7. Vision is a long-range goal, therefore, it has a deadline. In this case, it's year 2027. (there are still some of you who lost precious marks when you confused "Vision" with "Mission") Try to imagine "vision" to be something you see in a distance(future).
8. Part of our vision is to have GB PRESENCE in all Asian countries, not GB COMPANIES. Please note the difference.
9. Mission is something we are doing now as GB. In this case, it's "every girl a leader, every officer a servant-leader".
10. For The Lord's Prayer, "Hallowed" = "Holy" so please spell the word right.
Please note the errors. Also, do not memorize the significance of the 7 components by heart. Understand their meanings and it will be easier for you. We are looking for the understanding and the gist of the significance and not how well you can memorize word for word the meanings.
Some of you can write short and precise answers. (e.g. Pui Ying, Xu Ting, Jo'zzy) :)
This is important because the next test date in 2010 will not be announced. Thus, it is your duty to help yourself understand and know the facts constantly, and be ready for the 2010 BK test any time. The aim of the BK test is to keep you in the know of Brigade Knowledge all the time, not in the know only when there is a test.
Well, all of you know the questions of the test, so brush up on your knowledge and keep up the good work and attitude!

P.s.: Now that you all know the Vesper well, I do not want to hear the "as" but "ere" when you sing at the company fall-out time!
